Most products in this category are described by what they promise. This one is better described by what it refuses, because the refusals are what make the rest of it trustworthy.
A seat emptying is a fact. A replacement search is a possibility. The product reports the first and never asserts the second, because the difference is exactly where a tool like this would be tempted to inflate — and an executive who acts on a vacancy that never existed pays for that inflation, not us.
You are the customer, singular. Your profile, your network and your pipeline are not products, are not pooled with other users', and are not visible to companies. Any platform where a recruiter can buy access to candidates has a conflict at the centre of it; we removed the conflict by removing that revenue.
Coverage is not total. Not every company and not every title is visible, and recent months are always incomplete because departures become visible on the departing person's schedule. Where the product cannot see, it says so rather than producing a confident-looking blank.
A tool that fills its gaps with plausible output is worse than one with gaps, because you cannot tell which parts to trust.
You spend on delivered rows only. A search that returns nothing costs nothing; a page that could not be opened is not billed; a post that turns out to be commentary rather than an announcement is filtered out and absorbed on our side.
Nobody can. The decision is made by people we have no relationship with, on criteria we cannot see, often for reasons that have nothing to do with the candidates. What the platform can do is get you into the conversation earlier and more often, with a warm route where one exists. What happens in the conversation is yours.
Because every one of these limits will be discovered by anyone who uses the product seriously, and a limit discovered after purchase reads as a defect while the same limit stated in advance reads as a boundary. We would rather lose a sale here than in month two.
Not a job board, not a recruiter, not a coach. What the platform actually does, and the two jobs it exists to do.
