Where Brinksignal fits

Where Brinksignal fits in your search

Brinksignal is a tool for running a reverse job search. It does two jobs — showing you when a company changes, and showing you who can introduce you — and it deliberately does not attempt the rest.

The two jobs

Notice the change early

Senior seats emptying at the companies you chose, with the company, the seat and the month — before an advert exists.

Name the route in

Your own uploaded network, swept against every company showing movement, so you can see who you already know before you write to anybody.

Those are the two things that decide a reverse search: arriving inside the window, and arriving through a person. Everything else on the platform — the pipeline, the advisor, the training — exists to support those two.

What it is not

  • Not a job board. Most of what it shows you is not a job. It is a change at a company you chose to watch.
  • Not a recruiter. We are paid by you and take no money from employers, so nobody is placed anywhere and your profile is not inventory.
  • Not a coach. It will not tell you what you want, build your narrative, or rehearse a board conversation. Those are genuinely valuable and genuinely somebody else's job.
  • Not an autopilot. It surfaces moments and routes. Judging which are worth your time, and what to say, remains entirely yours.

How it sits alongside the others

If you are working with a coach, this is the access half they cannot provide — the target list becomes something you watch rather than something you look at. If you are known to search firms, this covers the large majority of companies where you are not on anyone's list. If you are doing it alone, it replaces the part of the work that is genuinely mechanical: noticing.

Coaching improves what you say. Your network decides whether it is heard. This decides whether you are in the conversation at all.

Free versus metered, plainly

Filtering, counting and watching are free — every search, every total, every month a seat opened. You spend only on the one genuinely hidden thing: the identity of a specific person, which is what turns "a seat opened" into "here is who to ask for an introduction". You see the company, the seat and the month before deciding whether that is worth anything to you.
